Covid-19 Notice

Accountants and tax preparers have been deemed essential businesses by Governor Wolf. Please read our updated Covid-19 policy below.

CALLS TO JAMES HOLLAND CPA OFFICE:
We’re always happy to try to help educate our clients but we would appreciate if you would read the information in these PDFs and links before calling the office with general questions on the stimulus. We are getting inundated with calls and despite the fact that the tax deadlines have been extended until July 15, 2020, we are still striving to complete returns as soon as possible. Stay safe and take care of each other.

FOR INDIVIDUALS (Cares Act UPDATE April 15, 2020):

The Federal Government/IRS has released new information about the individual stimulus/CARES Act. Information about the individual stimulus payments can be accessed at these links:

Individual Stimulus Checks Information.pdf
The individual stimulus payments will be direct deposited into the bank account listed on your most recent tax return. If you did not list a bank account on your tax return the Treasury department will be setting up a system where you can upload direct deposit information, but as of 4/3/20 it is not set up yet. You can stay updated by doing a Google search for “upload direct deposit info to treasury for stimulus checks”. Read the above PDF for more information and links.

FOR BUSINESSES:

The loan comparison PDF above will help you decide which loan would be best for your situation. The application PDF is a FILL-IN form but you must open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader in order for the form fields to show up. (Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and Google Docs DO NOT handle these forms well. Consider using BRAVE, FIREFOX, or GOOGLE CHROME) You can download Adobe Reader here:https://get.adobe.com/reader/
